Thoughtful design, functional solutions, and a cosy atmosphere—all this is embodied in the coffee shop for the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU). The project was developed so that hundreds of students and teachers could enjoy the comfort of the space and the aroma of fresh coffee every day. The main feature is the integration of the authentic doors of the premises, which we restored and installed on the front of the bar counter, preserving the history of the establishment in the new design. The body of the structure is made of Swiss Krono chipboard, and the worktop is made of Grandex A-424 acrylic stone, which can be restored, allowing it to retain its aesthetic appeal for years to come. The concept of the coffee shop includes comfortable places to relax, organised beverage service and easy navigation of the area. All this creates an atmosphere where every student feels part of an active university community. This project demonstrates how space can combine comfort, style and historical authenticity in the modern world.
